I read Less Than Zero my freshman year in college, and it made me think I wanted to be much naughtier than I had been in high school. Mission accomplished! (not that it was necessarily a good decision)
I might have to check this out. The free pilot of "Your Friends and Neighbors," and Jon Hamm in the lead role, suckered me into signing up again for Apple TV again, but I thought it went downhill pretty quickly. That may be because Mrs. Jakab and I are just now watching "Mad Men" and the writing on that show is so much better.
There's no comparing the two. 'Mad Men' is in the Top 5 of modern television with (for me anyway) Sopranos, Breaking Bad, The Wire, and...I'd have to think about the other one. YFAN is alluring and funny at times, but it's not in the same ballpark.
My wife has affectionately renamed "The Shards" "The Shart." And yet, we can't stop watching.
yep!
We too couldn’t stop watching YFAN. Thanks for helping me find my next show in The Shards!
you were warned!
Not gonna like, we both liked The Shards. I was born in early 1980 so clearly missed out on an epic decade of high school parties.
